The NUT has sent a short workload survey to members, the results of which we want to use when we meet Nicky Morgan next week.
This follows comments from the Secretary of State that she sees workload as a critical issue to address.
I have just heard that over 5,000 responses have been received overnight, which is a very high rate of response and shows that teachers want to be heard.
We have sent the link to NUT Reps in our association asking them to encourage members to complete the survey:
It doesn’t take long and the more information the union gets the stronger our case will be when we meet with the government.
The survey closes on Sunday, so we need to do this quickly.
I am also attaching our latest newsletter, which we are sending to members to encourage them to vote in the consultative ballot which starts next week – please feel free to use, adapt or ignore.
