Nearly 40 years after the Equal Pay Act, women still earn far less than men. The gender pay gap rose last year to 19 per cent in the private sector and 15 per cent in the public sector. Women working part-time earn 35 per cent less than their male equivalents. This failure to pay fairly has resulted in more and more women becoming trapped in low-paid jobs results and left many struggling to support their families. Fighting for fair and equal pay for women has never been more important. Come and help us campaign for equality and fair pay for all.
Places are limited so please RSVP and be prompt: London@nut.org.uk
