The meeting will give us a really good opportunity to build on some of our recent successes on pay and appraisal policies.
We will also hear a report on the great success Warren School in Barking has had in challenging Gove’s forced academy in the High Court and we will have news of a strike ballot in an Islington Free School.
This meeting will be taking place the day before the executive meets to make its decision about strike action and we should be in a position to update reps on the situation.
I also want to propose at the meeting that we seek to organise some Stand Up for Education Saturday events in local areas – particularly on March 8th – we have had a good response to this suggestion and perhaps could consider something imaginative in central London.
Please share this link as another way of promoting the London-wide reps meeting.
